Year 6 trip to Weston Park - 17th & 18th November 2025
On Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th November, year 6 went to Weston Park for a World War 2 day. We made medals for bravery; completed a maze to retrieve Top Secret documents; discussed food rationing and how the gardens at Weston Park were used to provide food for locals; spent time in the Anderson Shelter; and cracked a code to find the secret message. In the afternoon, we had a forest school session where we used the campfire to make S'more and had some loose parts play creating obstacle courses, games and dens. It was very cold but we had a lot of fun!
Prayer Spaces
This week, we have been very lucky to have some visitors in school from Top Church in Dudley. The children have been taking part in a variety of engaging and creative activities that help them to explore personal reflection for themselves. Children from all across the school have taken part and really enjoyed their reflective time. Below are some images of the activities they completed. Our sincere thanks go out to Clare from Top Church for organising and delivering the week of activities.
